Brad Pitt says he has no style as hes older and crankier

Brad Pitt may be a heartthrob, but he’s also humble.

The “Ad Astra” star, 57, told Esquire that his fashion sense is declining due to his age, and claims he has “no style” to speak of.

“You get older, you get crankier, and comfort becomes more important. I think it’s as simple as that,” he said, posing for De’Longhi’s latest campaign wearing a four-figure cashmere Loro Piana jacket.

“If I have a style, it’s no style.”

The face of Brioni, who’s often one of the most fashionable men on the red carpet, added that he gravitates toward minimalist looks.

“I like monochrome, without it being a uniform … I like simplicity,” he explained. “I like the details in the stitching, the way it feels. If anything, that’s the only divining rod I have.”

Indeed, Pitt seems to be channeling Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who have built a lucrative business on designing ultra-luxurious clothes for the wealthy shopper who wants to appear modest.

“I don’t want to look ostentatious, but if you come close, you notice,” he added. “It’s those details that are important to me. It’s too exhausting to follow trends. And I despise billboards; I just don’t want to be billboard.”
