Gabby Petitos killer added to FBI Most Wanted and Brian Laundries lawyer says may she rest in peace as body found
GABBY Petitoâs case has been added to the FBIâs Most Wanted list as her fiance Brian Laundrie remains a person of interest in her death.
Laundrieâs family lawyer said only âMay Gabby rest in peaceâ when pushed for a statement after Petitoâs remains were identified and her manner of death ruled a homicide on Tuesday.

The agency is searching for information from people who may have seen Petito between August 27 and August 30 in the Spread Creek Dispersed Camping Area.
The 22-year-oldâs mother last heard from her on August 27 and her phone was turned off after this point, according to a search warrant for the Laundrie home.
Her remains were found near the camping area on Sunday after her family reported her missing on September 11, sparking a large-scale search.
âMs. Petito was on a cross-country road trip with her boyfriend visiting national parks in Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming,â the FBI said on Tuesday.
âThey were driving a white 2012 Ford Transit van with a variety of stickers on the back. The van is registered to Ms. Petito with Florida plate QFTG03.â
The FBI also wish to speak to Laundrie as they issued a stern statement on Tuesday that they would hold Petitoâs killer accountable.
âThe FBIâs commitment to justice is at the forefront of each and every investigation,â FBI Denver Special Agent in Charge Michael Scheider said in a statement as Petitoâs identification was confirmed.

âThe FBI and our partners remain dedicated to ensuring anyone responsible for or complicit in Ms Petitoâs death is held accountable for their actions.
âMr Brian Laundrie has been named a person of interest,â he added.
âAnyone with information concerning Mr Laudrieâs role in this manner or his current whereabouts should contact the FBI.â
Laundrieâs lawyer issued the five-word statement on Tuesday after canceling a press conference that was due to take place earlier in the day.
Petitoâs family has not yet spoken publicly since her body was identified.
The attorney for Petitoâs family, Richard Stafford, told Business Insider earlier on Tuesday that the identification was confirmed.
Stafford had released a statement thanking the media and public âfor giving the Petito and Schmidt family time to grieve.â
âWe will be making a statement when Gabby is home,â he added.
GABBYâS LAST DAYSThe vlogger had been traveling across America since July and was last seen on August 24 leaving a Utah hotel with Brian Laundrie.
They visited national parks and tourist attractions before she went missing.
Cops found their white Ford Transit van in North Port, Florida, during the weekend of September 11 â" when Gabbyâs parents reported her disappearance.
It was parked outside Laundrieâs parentsâ home, where he and Petito had lived for the past two years.
Laundrie returned to the state on September 1 and hired an attorney, but went missing after he was named a person of interest last week.
His parents called the FBI to their home on Friday to report that they had not seen Laundrie since Tuesday.
They claimed he went on a hike and did not return.
LAUNDRIE HOUSE SEARCHEDHowever, they reportedly drove home his car from the hiking spot two days after they last saw him and a day before they reported him missing.
The search for Laundrie at the place he reportedly went for a hike was called off on Monday morning as cops confirmed that they had no plans to conduct a major hunt of the Carlton Reserve.
Police also said they had not yet âcorroboratedâ Laundrieâs parentsâ story.
Later that day, cops searched the home of Laundrie and bundled his parents into a police van after declaring the area a âcrime scene.â
The FBI announced a âsearch warrantâ twice before they removed Chris and Roberta Laundrie from the home.

The parents were placed in a van on their lawn.
Cops seized the silver mustang his parents drove back to their home after his disappearance and a hard drive that reportedly contains evidence on Petitoâs final âoddâ texts.
Police are currently investigating several âsightingsâ of Laundrie across the country but no trace of the 23-year-old has yet been found.
