Moment furious locals confront inspector for leaving parking tickets on cars in their OWN driveways

THIS is the moment furious locals confronted a parking inspector for apparently leaving tickets on the cars in their OWN driveways.

Video footage posted on TikTok shows residents gathered on their street as cars behind them sit littered in yellow tickets.

One man can be seen speaking to the warden with his car keys in hand, pointing back and fourth at his home, believed to be in London.

Another man in crutches stands in his dressing gown and slippers while someone else appears baffled as they point to the car in their own drive.

The man in crutches can be heard saying: “That’s my house. That’s not the council’s, that’s private.”

Behind them, cars appear to sit in their driveways with yellow parking tickets on the windscreens.

It is unclear which street the footage was taken on or which council catchment area the road falls into.

Posting the footage on TikTok, user alandakrayi5 wrote: “London getting a ticket on private property.”

Users were quick to comment, with one person writing: “Can you imagine getting a ticket on your own driveway.”

Another said: “They can’t do that surely?”

But others sided with the ticket warden, explaining that because the cars did not have a dropped curb in front of them, they should be fined.

One person said: “Because these houses don’t have drop kerbs they [are] not allowed to park there.”

Someone else added: “No dropped kerbs means you shouldn’t be crossing the path hence the fine.”

Another wrote: “There’s no drop kerb so technically you can parallel park in front of their house and it will block them in.

“He’s doing you a favour by fining them.”

The Department for Transport told The Sun Online they were unable to comment on the parking dispute as it falls under rules made by the local authority.
